Fashion with Standards & Practices in Tokyo – Summer 2018

I have accomplished one of my dreams by traveling to Japan where I visited the cities of Tokyo and Kyoto. It feels so good when you accomplish your goals and dreams and I want you to get inspired. I felt so connected to my inner self during my trip to Japan because of many things ranging from the food, lifestyle, spirituality, and convenience.  The alluring energy of the city and the personality of each district is so impressive in a country that is always in constant evolution. I took this comfy and beautiful summer dress from Standards & Practices to connect with nature, people, food, and spirituality in Tokyo.

The dress is named “Dion Cap Sleeve Ruffle Bottom Dress” – Floral Print Chiffon. I’m 5’2 tall and I’m wearing the size “S” and if you are taller than me it will look like a mini dress. I love this dress so much because it brings freshness and a youthful look to me. The details of this dress are exquisitely designed to give you freedom with a luxurious style that’s crafted from an ivory light gray floral print chiffon that features an all-over botanical leaf print. The A-line dress is finished off by a tie-string with a bow at the neck. My favorite details of the dress are the ruffle hem at the bottom and the butterfly sleeves. I paired my dress with a pair of comfortable flat blue shoes just like the active Japanese women who are rarely seen with high heels on the streets of Japan.

Women in Japan have a very distinctive taste as they develop their own particular style. Some women may look seductive and at the same time have a natural and innocent look. Young girls smile a lot which I think is interesting and appealing. I feel a little disturbed when I see a woman in a beautiful dress on a runway with a bitter look. I think women, in general, should smile more on runways just like the women on the streets in Japan. When I love a dress and feel great about it I’m always smiling.

I brought this dress and I realized I totally nailed it in Japan, especially in Ginza and Shibuya. Flowered dresses are everywhere in Japan and are timeless anywhere in the world. If you buy the dress “Dion Cap Sleeve Ruffle Bottom Dress” also available in plus size  you will be wearing it for a long time because flowers and ruffles are the translation of seduction and fun. When I was walking on the streets of Omotesando in Tokyo, I observed many awesome looks with trendy floral dresses, and ruffles popping up in summer. I can’t wait to go back to Tokyo in the near future to get more inspirations and insights. I feel inspired by nature and the fashion I adopt in my wardrobe reflects how I feel or what I want to experience. Fashion is always changing, and it’s fun to participate and observe the changing trends around the world. I love Standards & Practices designs and I hope you buy this gorgeous dress using my special code for you YESYENIS25 for an extra 25% OFF HERE
