All lodging options include private outdoor soaking tubs, elevated decks, heating / A.C., WiFi, private bathrooms, and efficiency kitchens with countertop burners, mini-fridge, convection oven/air fryer/toaster, coffee maker, butcher block countertops, and private fire pit area. Guests also have access to a communal pool, barrel sauna, jacuzzi spa, and oak grove tree deck with hammock and swinging chairs. The communal area is charming, and the facilities I encountered were spotless and well-kept.
Most units have one bed, while two of them, “Live Oak Lodge” and “Sage Safari,” have two bedrooms. Any of them don’t include T.V.s.
I chose to stay at the majestic “Live Oak Lodge” because I traveled with my teenager and needed an extra room just for him. This modern and creative container lodging home offers an incredible, luxurious stay with access to the gorgeous view of hill country nature. You can observe wildlife through the large glass windows. The two-bedroom queen-size bed’s modern container features its very private ADA-accessible plunge pool and a private cedar soaking tub that is very cute and super cozy. The “Live Oak Lodge” also has a spectacular rooftop deck perfect for stargazing, sunbathing, outdoor dining, or exercise. I even did some yoga, there are yoga mats under the primary bedroom, and you can climb up there (non-ADA).
I enjoyed the ton of natural light that the “Live Oak Lodge” offers with the large windows from floor to the ceiling and spacious open space perfect for my little family; the bathroom is 100% ADA-compliant bathroom, and the shower in this container home is ideal also for an elder couple, or if you have had an injury like me in March, for example, I had an ACL injury in March 2022, the perfect place to stay and pamper myself after my injury. I wish I knew this place existed back in March because in March, Fredericksburg is super desirable for the weather, and if you want to book Stay Onera you need to do it in advance during the busiest months of tourism. Remember that the most active month for tourism in Fredericksburg, TX, U.S. is July, followed by March and June. The final busy but beautiful season in Fredericksburg is followed by October, November, and December. Fourth-quarter is a party for local merchants as the crowds show up for Oktoberfest and don’t go home until after New Year’s! Recognize during the peak season; the prices are higher everywhere in the area.
